In December 2005, Arcapita initiated the development of Real Estate master-plan Bahrain Bay. Bahrain Bay is an exclusive, mixed-use waterfront development by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill covering an area of 427,423 square meters off the North East coast of Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. The majority of the infrastructure works have been completed. Anchor developments completed include the Arcapita headquarters building, the Four Seasons Hotel and Al Baraka Group Headquarters.
